Trelleborg, January 2012 – Pergo, the leading manufacturer of HPL laminate flooring is introducing a new, patented design feature for 2012. Pergo says its innovative NaturalVariation™ feature is the result of the company’s latest technological advancements aimed at making laminate flooring more sophisticated. “This is another innovation that we’re especially proud of,” says Ralf Eisermann, CEO at Pergo. “With Natural Variation™ we’ve taken laminate flooring to a higher level and even closer to the look and feel of a real wood floor.”
Pergo’s latest patented production process makes it possible to create as many as 700 different looking planks, with a chalked and naturally rustic character. “This gives our floor owners the ability to install floors in an unlimited number of pattern variations just like with real wood floors, but with the added reassurance they get from laminate,” explains Eisermann. Products made with NaturalVariation™, he says, represent the best of both worlds by combining the distinctive character of genuine wood flooring with all the advantages of Pergo’s highly durable laminate.
All NaturalVariation™ products come in Pergo’s living Expression quality level featuring the company’s TitanX™ surface, which makes them suitable for high-wear domestic environments as well as moderate-wear public areas. Other patented technologies found with these floors include PerfectFold™ for easy installation and Compact SoundBloc™ for built-in sound reduction.
